The life of theologian C.S. Lewis and his writing is something that has inspired and challenged thousands around the globe for many years.

On UNDISTRACTED, this week’s guest is Patti Callahan, an American author who has spent her career immersed in Lewis’ life and work – writing historical fiction that brings alive the facts of his life with vivid imagination.

Patti recently wrote Becoming Mrs. Lewis, a love story based on that of Lewis and his wife Joy, and her latest, Once Upon a Wardrobe, is a story that explores the origin of one of Lewis’ greatest works – The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.

In this conversation, Patti talks about how art becomes iconic, the tension between logic and imagination, and where her fascination with C.S. Lewis began.
