Holiday Newsletter | December, 2021
Wishing you peace, love, and joy this holiday season and throughout 2022.
Dearest Readers, What are your wishes this holiday season? What do you hope for? My wish is that this note finds you having a beautiful and peaceful holiday season, possibly even magical! I hope you have a book you love in your hand, that you’re surrounded by those you love and those who love you. I have been so grateful this season for all of your support during the publication of Once Upon a Wardrobe, a book that I wrote during the worst of the lockdown. It is a book that was my still point in a world going mad with a pandemic, and I hope it brings both hope and joy into your season. For more on Once Upon a Wardrobe, you can visit here where there is a book club kit, podcast interviews, articles, and more! To know more about what I’ve been up to in Friends and Fiction, you can read all about it here (PW article)! And guess what? In April of 2022 Surviving Savannah will be out in paperback! I’m so excited about this. And for events in the new year – there are so many interesting ones. Check here. Happy Holidays! —Patti

"Once Upon a Wardrobe is an enchanting and poignant winter’s tale about the world of Narnia and her creator that celebrates not only the wonder, adventure, escape, or the romance, but the consolation that friends of Narnia, and in fact lovers of all stories receive from those great tales worth telling. Not since I first saw the movie The Princess Bride, have I encountered a work that celebrates the joy of story so beautifully. Add this one to your Christmas list and give it a good spot on your bookshelf. You’ll be glad you did."
